It is so easy to grow saplings of the avocado fruit tree (Persea americana) in different types of containers (yogurt pots, bottles, trays. An excellent method to save water with cheap, useless materials.

Why do you put the drainage holes above the bottom of the container , why not simply right at the bottom?

The 2 young avocados reached 100 and 105 cm nox. The seeds were saved after eating the avocadios, bought in a supermarket.

Any updates on this Avocado plant? How big is it now? Was the seed one from a store bought avocado or did you buy a seed specifically meant for replanting?

I just lay the seed with its basal part on the moistened soil and wait a long time to see the germination starting.
