Arugula loses its spiciness in a little bit of heat. Notice it if you have it next to a warm food item. Mustard also lose a lot of spiciness in heat.

It took a little over a month. But it also bolts really fast with the heat - I have a bunch of arugula flowers now (which also is edible). I'm thinking of starting a new set in a container that I can move so that I can keep it in the shade.

Yes. Maybe it overflow with sunchokes...but I am ok with that. thanks for watching!

That tote might be a bit small for two sunchokes. I love that you are companion planting. So few people really use the soil they have and it is especially important with a small patio garden.

This is my first year growing them so I'm not sure. I'll keep updating - hopefully they will make some pods.

I have never tried Fava bean, do they do well in containers?

Thanks!
