For years I haven't been able to overwinter my artichokes since my zone is too cold for the plant to survive. Listen to my plans to finally have artichokes in one season.

here in northern California the weather must be good for chokes. Planted a couple plants but first year only got a few off them. This year over 30+ from one plant .Going to plant some seeds this year and see what happens. Just don't expect much production the first year...my freinds planted this year and found they only gave up 3 good globes. Good luck...
