Growbox Cultivation: Technique
Tips, Tricks
In the second part of our Growbox Cultivation series, HIGH TIMES editorial director Nico Escondido reviews some basic tips for growing great pot in limited space. Growboxes – like the one featured here from Cabinet Grow – come with their own distinct advantages and disadvantages. However, proper cultivation technique can greatly improve your growbox results. In this episode, Nico explains how to cut down on time between grow cycles, proper mediums for transplant, recommended watering regiments, nutrients and what you can realistically expect from a growbox harvest.

To those who really shot this down; I have grown on a large scale before, never would I dare to grow on such a scale where I currently am... But, living in say London/New York, this is useful information for those starting up and need to see a "cabinet" grow. Get your head out your asses...

You might want to look into induction lights for a better option. High end Induction lights are rumored to produce 1.75 grams per watt. With the newer LED enhanced Induction lights, although unproven by me as of yet, may produce between 2 and 2.5 grams per watt. All of this extreme output and almost no need for cooling.
I am not sure if this G/W ratios are the same for a smaller wattage light needed for this application, but I do not see why not.
Check my channel over the next few months I am determined to see how true Induction claims are.
I helped design a 400 watt induction light with the help of SuperTek in China. It includes a 60 watt LED enhancement designed to induce plant sleep about 2 hours quicker than standard lighting methods. This extra 2 hours of sleep is the reason for the additional G/W increase. Hopefully the increase is between 30%-50% over the 700 grams that are normally obtained from the 400 watt fixtures.
The cool part is these magnetically powered bulbs last around 100,000 hours with very minimal degradation.
And guys, don't pay $1500 for an induction light here in the states when you can buy 3 of them from my buddy Eric for that price. -
