I understood the joke...salt is derived from the Latin "salary" or payment. The soldiers were often payed in salt!

Azomite contains fluorine which can kill plants and isn't good for you. It also contains heavy metals. I just clicked on a random vid to say this. Get glacial rock dust or sea90 instead viewers.

I support and follow John Kohler of Growing Your Greens! Thanks and Great Job getting out there and Doing It! I hope all communities start reshaping their mindsets about food and where it comes from. Most importantly, I hope we all can grow out food together.

Great new video. Ron, our Pest Control Advisor for Rincon-Vitova Insectaries, will be in Vegas in a week. Will you still be there? He would enjoy meeting you--bugnet@rinconvitova.com.

can you do a video on how to use herbs as an insecticide for your other plants as you mentioned?

My daughter has grown pomegranate trees from seed successfully. We live in rural South Australia, where the climate is similar to Las Vegas, getting up to 48°c in summer.

Grow herbs and smoke em right on man.

Enjoyed the coverage. Tho, the festival is great for promoting growing your own food. Imo, it's not quite organic...lol... when they painted all the raised beds and the sign posts. Gotta ask yourself, wat else r they doing they aren't aware of. Those loooong black rubber hoses r gonna heat up and the water and slowly break down and release elements into the water, which those plants will soak up.

John your videos are absolutely fantastic thank you for what you do. I have a question, now with recreational cannabis being legalized in your state of California can we expect to see a cannabis plant in your gardens?
