You've also heavily pruned your foliage....

Why use commercial fertilizers? So much to use than this stuff..

I am in the live rock scene and this is a great tune to play just before we take the stage... thanks

if i wanted bad music i could find it anywhere.

yeah but bigger the plant the more tomatoes, so foliage is needed

Hi CG. Those heirloom toms in the back, what was the variety? Did you grow from seeds or plant start ups? Appreciate that water dish trick! I've lost so many tomatoes to thirsty birds. Also, any recommendation on an indeterminate variety of heirloom tom that is not GMO?

can we have a video about companion planting as well and just a gentle reminder, would love to have video about flowering plants

Lovely music but livelier tomatoes!

Do you trim the foliage from the lower portion of the plants? Looks full at the top but not so much closer toward the ground. Thanks for the info, nice video and yes even the music was good ;-)

I have a question, I am a beginner at growing tomatoes and got the determinate variety. So once all fruits ripen , the plant dies? and we start from zero again ( that is from seed?)
-
:( from the title I thought maybe the tips would be about pruning and foliage removal not fertilizer, pesticides and water for the birds.

Great help to novice Gardeners

what about the Terrific Toronto variety?

Great suggestions. Also suggest the grower grow both determinate ( all ripen at once) and indeterminate cultivars. In zone 10a I prefer celebrity (determinate) and Paul Robeson (indeterminate, heirloom). Nothing wrong with a mini like Juliet or sweet 100 as well. Also don't forget a calcium supplement to prevent blossom end rot.
