Grow MORE Hot Peppers- Growing Pepper Plants in Pots & Containers
Tips, Tricks
In this Video we look at a wide range of hot pepper plants growing on my balcony in pots. Using an all organic and natural growing mix and fertilizer. I was sent a few packages of seed over the winter from a friend of mine and fellow YouTuber MHP Gardener, including: Super Chilli, Datil, Orange Habanero, Cherry Bomb I have also been growing a few Heirloom varieties, including Black Hungarian Peppers and Heirloom Aurora Peppers. In upcoming videos I will be topping these plants, pruning, harvesting and bringing them indoors for the winter. As well as creating a bunch of recipes and uses for these hot peppers. Thanks for watching please Rate & Subscribe! Enjoy! **Special Thanks to MHPGardener for his incredible generosity in sharing his hot pepper seeds! Thank you so Much, and I will be sure to pay it forward! https://www.facebook.com/JeremiahJohnson84 All content is original and created by me.

It got cold outside so I bought my pepper trees indoors, they were budding but now I think the buds are turning black (doesn't look normal to me but I have never planted anything before) a few them got white flowers (but seem like the flowers are either falling off now or just dying)... also I see some spider mites on my tree... What should I do in order to protect my trees during the winter and make sure they actually give me some peppers? Thank you!

It's a stupid video. I wanted information on how to grow hot peppers. Instead I got an advertisement about your growing ability. No information at all in this video.

Hi Jeremiah, Thanx for sharing! I wonder if I can leave my pepper outside over the winter? I also live in Vancouver.

Wow I looked it up that's amazing! I think I might try it. Thanks. That would be a great thing to do a video on because inexperienced pepper people (like myself) don't know about it and non pepper people will probably think it's cool too.

Thanks Jacob, I am looking forward to bring a lot of the Peppers in..cool tip i learned and may make a video on...you can prune pepper plants down for the winter into "BonChi" Peppers. Which like a bonsai removes a lot of the roots and stems and plant them into a bonsai pot.. apparently they can turn (as you can google) into incredible large stem bonsai plants while producing flowers/peppers over the winter. You may already be into this, but check it out as it knocked my socks off! Thanks!!!!!

You should do well this winter I brought my pepper plant in and it continued to produce peppers all winter

Hmmm - maybe I'll have to make some pepper spray myself. We've had rats roaming the garden. Maybe pepper spray would keep them away...good idea.

Thanks CK, I do enjoy growing the Peppers! Very fun to watch grow, ornamental and such a blast to maintain. I do use a super soil mix with my peppers..I find they grow great in it! I was planing on spraying it around my soil if the wild animals were stealing any of my produce, but luckily i have not had to use it. MHP gardener had a video on it, and seemed to work well for him. Thanks for watching, looking forward to your next video!

HeyJJ - You have an impressive variety of peppers, that's for sure. Plants look extremely healthy. Must be that good soil you are using! What do you use the pepper spray for?

Unite indeed! I would love to try growing the ghost pepper, I have a scorpion growing now, but i planted it quite late in the season, may have to over-winter it! I would love to see some pics! Thanks for watching!

That sounds like an incredible pepper plant. Right off the start I would guess its an Aurora Pepper or Rainbow Pepper. These are usually sold in grocery stores, and its important to ensure they are edible. Sometimes they can use a lot of fertilizers and they are deemed for fore 'ornamental'. Sounds like a beautiful pepper. Check out my facebook to see the 2 I have with purple flowers. "Aurora and Hungarian Black". Thanks for watching!
