Grow Grass seed on bare spots Plant the easy way
Tips, Tricks
Patch bare spots in your yard with grass seed. Using this garden Weasel makes it real simple and it works very well. This method pulverizes the dirt very easily. The recycled newspaper mulch has starter fertilizer already in it and this mulch works very well.

You don't need any of that. Just clear plastic.

This worked for me, I have grass growing after six days. Now, because I didn't review the video just before starting the project (short term memory loss, lol) I did not put down more seed after weaseling over the first layer of seed or add more topsoil. What I did do is add topsoil prior to weaseling, some areas a significant amount. I'm in Northern Virginia so Tall Fescue is the recommended seed for this area which I picked up at Home Depot (Viguro brand), as well as Scotts topsoil. I got the garden weasel and accelerator at Lowes. I've watered lightly three times a day, and we have had just a very brief shower or two the last week, and a lot of sun and warmth. Thanks for the video....

Are you late for something?

You should lightly water your grass seed for about 2-3 weeks. Just keep it damp at all times. Dont let the ground dry out. After grass has grown to 3 to 4 inches, you can water more heavily and less frequent

I just wanted to say as an experiment during our warm day before the winter really hit. This really works I have grass growing now during the winter as a test. The under and over seed technique really helps.

I thought about buying the grass stitcher. All this time I forgot we brought a garden weasel. This combo works greats. It's best to use when the soil is soft.
