Grow a tomato plant indoors in winter
Tips, Tricks
It's very easy to grow a tomato plant indoors even in winter. It may seem a bit weird, but I guess it could be weirder. I could be growing watermelons in my tub. :)

I bought 2 tomato plants inside this year, hoping to grow it over the winter, but one already died and the second one is not looking to good. I don't think I get enough sun light. I have a lamp on it, but I don't think it supplies it with enough light ( 6400K Full Spectrum Daylight ). I have fertilized it very lightly since it is winter time. any recommendations? thanks for the inspiring video.

QUESTION: So how does this plant get pollenated if it's inside during winter? I'm wanting to grow foods that don't need bees and so am wondering how to pollenate my tomatoes once I start growing them. Thank you

Hi Praxxis,
I am planning to put my (cherry,Roma VF,San marzano) tomato plants on the balcony(East balcony) on 15th of March, and using some app I knew that I will have direct sunlights around 3-4 hours per day from that date to 1st of May and I will have upto 6hours per day,,
Is this light is enough for my plant? And if Not what shall I do ? I know that more sunlight means more fruits .
Please I need ur advice, Thanks -
Thanks for making it look simple, gonna try this I live in apartment. and this looks ideal for it, <3

I did the same took a clipping BUT I put it into a tall glass of water for a week. just as you said the roots grew like crazy all along the stem, then transplanted into dirt ans its growing like crazy. i also have a cherry tomatoe clipping put into water BUT it did not grow roots at all. maybe it needs dirt, wil do as you say putting into tall pot full of dirt, will see what happens
