GROWING GREEN ONIONS or SCALLIONS IS EASY MY WAY! In this video I show my best tips and tricks on how I prepare the soil and plant the onion sets. The small white or yellow bulbs will not make big onions, they are for growing green onions only. The reason for this is that the small bulbs are already one year old and next spring instead of making a big onion it will bolt and go to seed.

I grew the Walla Walla this Spring and did ok. This Fall the frost already killed the ones I had planted. Up here in Zone6 South Central Pennsylvania that frost can sneak up on ya. Thanks for sharing Friend. :)

How's your soil moisture holding up over there? It's bad over here in northeast Mississippi. For the first time in many years my rain barrels are empty :( I've got a little bit of a fall garden going but it's struggling.
