How cool is that? Very cool! I just planted a bunch of nantes in a container. Now we wait.

Hi this is so cool, I love your video, am looking for some seeds to try my own gardener for the first time by just watching your video..

Hi thanks for the video. I have a few of the same buckets and I thought to myself I should be able to plant carrots in them and walla, I run into your video. Super cool. How many seeds do I drop into the soil per each square? First timer and very excited to do it. :)

This is a great method! Most people say to direct sow only. Good to see your seedlings grow well in containers. I juice a ton of carrots. You made my day! :-)

Hey that looks like my dirt
-
That's a neat idea! How often do you have to water them? Do you keep them in full sun or move them around?
-
This would be really good. We juice tons of carrots and feed them to our dog as toothbrushing treats. You said 6 to 8 weeks? About how many carrots grown in one of those pots?
-
I tried this, and my carrots all turned out stumpy and skinny! Obviously I think I'm using low quality soil, but how would you recommend giving some better nutrients to the soil I already have? PS: I live in Hawaii.

cool i want to make my own little veggie garden but i don't have a big space so this is a great way to start!!!

Hello Patrick, the Green Gardener. Please to meet you.
-
Why not just sow them in the bucket in the first place - THINLY
-
I know it has been 3 years, but did you get a big harvest in one bucket? I am in SoCal and yeah, it is all about the clay. I grow most of my veggies in pots, buckets,2 liter soda bottles, and plastic planters.
-
When you plant them in the buckets do you put a hole in the bottom for drainage? Also can you use buckets for other types of edible plants? Thanks

Wow, great personality and great gardening tips!

So looks like it's OK for carrots to grow next to each other.??? because I had radishes growing next to each other and they grew too small.. vs radishes that were spread out...
