Yeah my mistake that "3year old" tree is a year old, later in the video at 5.5 feet tall is in 2011 THEN 3 years old. Now it is seven feet tall and will not fit in outdoor greenhouse glass box. So we dug it up and brought it in to the house

Also in the glassbox with our grapefruit tree is a constant 40 watt green bulb. Second to that are 2 bulbs (100 and 40w) controlled by a thermocube. Greenlight only= above 35f, green and white lights = was 35 back on its way to 45f. It is nice to tell just by glancing at the hoop house. Both lights come on almost exclusively at night... or cold cold days. I only go in to water maybe every 14 to 30 days. The moisture within re-sweats and essentially self waters the plants within.

Hoophouse is warmer than outside, due to the ground heating during the day (exposed soil and water bucket as a buffer inside) and being exothermic at night. Daytime highs mid-winter can hit 45 c. So we have to be selective with what can go in there and agree with the rollercoaster temps. Furthermore, our grapefruit tree is in a sealed glassbox within the hoophouse, wherein the remote thermometer is kept and to which I reference the 45c (at that time may be it is 30 c in the hoophouse itself)
