I wonder if these are available in the UK. My neighbours are lovely but like many uk townies they are building like crazy. So it's more a case of wanting to say "Goodbye neighbour's buildings" and hello green again.

Hi Tim, We are planning to plants those in our garden, but we realised that we have only 30 cms of soil and under that is just rocks. How deep this plants need to root properly. Thanks.

Google the fastest growing hedge & trees to get rid of neighbors. Learned too late for us. After 8 years. Finally planted Leyland Cypress to block neighbor from hell. After 3 years growing like crazy. At least it'll be great for the new owners bc we are moving! Also get info off YouTube for all trees u plant!

Great video here. I'm considering this plant or in the process of building a horizontal screen fence.. I too would like to say goodbye to noisy neighbors. Hopefully bush is dense enough to muff out their noisy dog!
btw if I planted one plant could that extend width wise to create a hedge or would i need a few. I only want to grow about 50-60cm wide from fence. My back area is quite sandy too -
This reminds me of privet hedge plants.
