This is the third growing season that I will be using the sprinkler scarecrow. It is awesome and amazingly simply. Keeps out everything and everybody. Here is a link. http://www.amazon.com/Contech-CRO101-Scarecrow-Activated-Sprinkler/product-reviews/B000071NUS
It can be found many places, this one just happened to be quite reasonable. It operates on a nine volt battery, that runs down quickly. I purchased a nine volt battery replacement and ran an extension cord to the garden. Works perfectly. It will even let you plant carrots around the outside boundaries and the rabbits won't even risk it. You will love this simple solution. PS... and I have no affiliation with the company. I get nothing at all for this recommendation. Unless someone with a checkbook wants to talk... in which case, I'm all ears. Lol -
I have a full three acres left wild for the deer. they still come behind the house to eat the tops off my tomatoes and small trees. By late summer, there is nothing to keep them away from the garden.
