doug...trim away the dead parts of the gardenia and fertilize your plant so that new growth can emerge...keep watering and spray our plant with water

I do not know if you do this or not however, I have a Gardenia, large type plant, 12 foot tall. It is apprx 30+ years old. Lately in the last year it has been becoming poor, leaves not deep green, dropping leaves also dropping buds. Found some spider mites on it and addressed them. Plant seem to respond a little but, still looks poor. It hasnt been moved. There was a concrete driveway put in apprx 3 feet away a couple of years ago but there was no digging or excavating near tree/plant. Do you have any suggestions? I would gladly provide pix or any additional information to assist to help it. Thank you//Doug
