The best time to plant a peach seed is in the FALL... not the spring. Fruit trees need to stratify their seeds over the winter months to naturally break their dormancy. Also, yes you can plant the whole peach pit, but it is easier for the germination to take place if you actually crack the pit open and retrieve the seed (which of course is easier said than done). When you plant the actual seed you don't have to worry about which side of the seed is up. The seedling already knows which way is up and will naturally grow like that. This is a terrible video... sheesh.

Good God, get those nails done!!

Why didn't you explain about cracking the outer shell and retrieving the ACTUAL SEED OUT OF ITS SHELL ??? Thanks
-
This doesn't really tell/show you what to do, or the step by step process of before and after.
-
But isn't that the pit, and the seed is inside the bone-like pit?
-
all talk and no action or info really
-
All that staging and you left your nails a mess??? LOL Honestly you only discussed saving a seed... not planting them.. you may want to change the title of your vid.

I have herd from the agriculture agent in my state (yesterday) that 1st you you the seed in a ziplock bag and lever the corner open and leave it in the fridge for three months then put in the freezer until spring then get it out and drop in in the grown. DO NOT TAKE THE SHELL OF IT WILL COME OFF ITS SELF IN THE GROWN!

Really..couldn't paint your nail or at least take the Polish off....SMH

Oh my GOD! Take of that chipped nail polish!

Some people say dry them out, but never mention for how long.
Some people say put them in a bag of dirt in the fridge for 3 months.
Some people say take the seed out of the pit.
Others say do not.
I give up.
I'm just gonna plant the suckers and see what happens. -

A such delicious fruit with the worse videos... i am almost one house researching about peach, and i can't find on damn good video or website explaining it properly ...lol... all we want to know before anyone makes a video is: How to dry the seeds? How long to dry the seed ( in numbers )? How long ( in numbers ) to soak in water before storing to germinating? how to store it before germinating in certain temperature? that is all.... I learned to grow kiwis, apples, avocados, pear, pine trees, all from watching youtube videos, but i found nothing about peaches... :(
