No, don't misinform people. Oleanders cannot resist snow and icy weather. I live in Canada and during late fall and all the way to late spring, I have to keep my oleanders indoors. Even if you keep them in the garage, they will die unless the garage is heated.

OMG! I planted Oleanders, the tall ones...all along my front and side yard. I wanted them to grow big. I love the colors. The disease you're talking about...does it turn brown spots on the leaves that then yellow? I couldn't figure out if it was a disease or I watered too much. I put down a lot of Miracle Grow and it went away. I'm just looking for clues on how to trim them.
