SUN...never plant petunias in the shade..where is this guy from??
-
They like full sun but not rain, the rain ruins them, so I think he's saying under trees because they can still get filtered sun and the canopy protects from wind and rain. Hateful people in world and this thread.

not a good vid!
-
Honestly, this is just one of the most simple video with little details but I can guarantee potential viewers that it is good. Although we are looking forward for more helpful tips such as how to maintain their dense growth habit if they do become leggy but over-all, I appreciate a lot this video.

wrong info.....with my experience growing this kind of plant for 20years, petunas grows well in full sun!
-
Hardly any info!! Title says 'How to care of Petunias!!
-
My petunias love full sun! in fact the more sun they get the more colorful blooms they give, and yes they need to be watered twice a day! and plant food too!
-
I just planted Petunias last weekend, despite all the heavy rain, they are doing quite well when the sun comes out. Can anyone tell me about deadheading them? I was watching one video and the guy said the not only remove the dry or wilted flower, but also the stalk, so more flowers can grow.

I you have any real tips please let me know. I started my petunias today.
-
Everything I've read has said full sun. I just started gardening, so I don't know much.
-
I named my petunia Pam :o
-
my petunias have to have full sun to flower
-
My petunias exploded with growth and flowering and they're in full sun. Can't say this was helpful in any other way, either...

I have my petunia's on the north side in morning sun and afternoon shade, they are beautiful and healthy. Petunia's are easy as heck to grow, plant, water, and that's it, never have ever had a pest so no pesticides, and I have great soil so no fertilizer, although I do amend the soil with compost each year and that's enough fertilizer for the plant all year. They are inexpensive so try some and see what you think about them.
-
Tad uniformative. Plant on the North side and water. I prefer 5% liquid 7 concentrate for pest control ;-) It's not vegetables, IMO, so to heck with organic...also, isn't Petunia's an Annual?
-
My petunias have always loved full sun...imagine my surprise to find out they don't do well in full sun ! Don't waste your time on this one, there is " 0 " information here.
-
Didn'treally say anything about how to care for petunias. They do like full sun, I don't think this guy knows what he's talking about.
-
Petunias like full sun to partial shade - impatients like shade. What is this guy talking about? Google petunias and you will see they like full sun to partial shade. Unreal
