I can't believe our balsamina impatiens grew without special care at all! We just threw the seeds, watered it and it grew! note : i'm in a tropical country , philippine

Mine grow well in full sun and limestone gravel! They reseed themselves every year so all I have to do is thin them every couple of weeks in spring. I hoe them out of the nearby iris like weeds or they take over! The seeds came from my mother-in-law many years ago and are four separate plant colors-lavender,light pink, hot pink and bright orange/red.

but, from my experience, Balsamina is not hardier than Walleriana...

Actually. . . scratch what I said earlier about not rating the video. I give it a thumbs down due to the misinformation. No offense to Yolanda. I have seen other videos by her that were good.

I won't give this video a thumbs up or down. It is made decent but contains quite a bit of misinformation. Many many sources hail the fact that these flowers DO do well in the shade and are actually considered just as hardy, if not hardier, than impatiens walleriana (the species in her pot at the beginning).
