Thank you so much for the reply. Your island is so pretty and I was happy to see that much of what we can grow here in Florida can be grown on your island. My husband and I are retired , disabled seniors . We have been looking for a climate where it's warm all year round. We had considered the Big Island of Hawaii and then we saw a video about the volcanic fog and realized that the fumes would be too much for my husband who suffers from copd. Winters are mild here in the panhandle but summers are getting hotter and the humidity gets so high that he has to stay inside . Too much water in the air makes it very difficult to breathe. Thank you for taking the time to write to me.

I'm sorry , that's probably seems silly to you. I live in Florida and I'm used to convenience. I see all the beauty where you live and then I wonder about possibly relocating there but then I think about things like employment and stores etc.

I'm curious ~ Do you have to import all of your goods like they do in Hawaii ?

Thank you for the reply. I guess that I didn't catch that in the beginning of the video. You are blessed , it's beautiful there.

I would love to see Embothrium and some Loderi Rhodo hybrids. They don't grow in the Carolinas.
