I sowed the seeds in rows. For some reason they sprouted in the middle and not so much at the edges. There can be a number of reasons. One of nature's mysteries I guess.

Thank you for this video! I cannot wait to start my own beets next fall. Please continue to bring us this great info. Also people start buying seeds that are non GMO, just Google non GMO food seeds if you don't know what they are. Happy food growing:).

Hello Greg.. In my opinion Beets "doesn't" take long to come out. Its one of the fastest growing greens/roots you can grow. I just started gardening & I did plant some beets. On the 3rd day, little red shoots starts coming out already. Yeyy..

I grew beets in the spring and they were excellent.

I'm confused. Some people say to grow beets thin because each corky little fruit grain contains multiple beet seeds and you will end up having to thin them afterwards. Are you sewing the beet fruit or the actual seeds inside the fruit?
