GARDEN TIPS-CORN, SOIL DEPLETION, POWDERY MILDEW ON SQUASH
Tips, Tricks
Garden tips from our garden. All of the leaves with powdery mildew were put in a trash can with a lid on top. Never put leaves with powdery mildew on them in your compost pile or bins. Never put diseased plant material in your compost. If you do then you will be putting the diseases on your plants when you add compost to the soil or when you use it as a mulch the following year. Even though a good compost pile gets hot inside it will not kill all of the diseases on the plant material. You have enough problems with disease that come naturally without adding to your problems.

Im glad to see this video. I just picked the last of my corn today and was going to let the stalks dry as they stand. You changed my mind, why use more nutrients from the soil. Thanks for the help.
