Garden Tip - When To Harvest Squash

Hello everyone! Today we will harvesting yellow squash, also known as a summer squash. They are super easy to grow, low maintenance and are delicious! They are great grilled, sauteed, steamed, and used in soup. It is also good as a substitute for pasta. Yummy! Anyways so when do we harvest squash???? Usually a great time to do so is between 50-60 days from the date you sowed the seeds. I harvest mine between those days and when they are young and tender at about 6-10 inches long. All you have to do is snip the top of the stem where it meets the main vine and you've harvested your squash!!! Hope you enjoyed the video.
