I like the hose in the watering can for reach idea! That amount of water in the butts will be great for summer use, it's all looking so good in it's housing :) Nice seeing your garden from above in the hail storm, get a bit of perspective. Doris is a great name for the orchid. Your seedlings look good, enjoying the hot house! What a beautiful chunk of wood, what are you using that for? Jazz.

Wow! you all have been very busy. Your soil for the onions is so nice and fluffy they should do well there, and your Orchid (Doris) is very pretty... Happy Gardening...

The water butt housing looks awesome, great work by hubby!! I normally space my potatoes 12 inches for earlies and 18 inches for maincrop to give them room to grow. Your garden looks amazing and well thought out!

Boy you folks really have everything figured out. That backyard is amazing. You're right...anything onions, carrots or spuds & Dan's the guy. And that's coming from this side of the lake. Now...to give you a laugh. Tomorrow I start my third set of onions in the trays. Yep...three just this year. I'm gonna grow one over four ounces if it kills me. Actually the weather has been lousy with cold temps and my timing was off for the 1st set. Live and learn. Thanx for the vid. You keep `em coming and I'll keep watching them.

Taken me all night to catch up on YT videos. It's only been two days since I last watched a load! Lol. Are u going to sow sweet peas up the trellis at the back? You can get dwarf ones. I think your leeks might be too early yet. They should be pencil thickness.you never know, they might be ok but a frost might kill them off.how far apart have you got spuds? Normal is 12". Your garden is immaculate and that's all down to the hard work you both out in, well done. Fruit trees and bushes will be fine. Mine have semi shaded sun and they thrive. Great update, thank you x

Hi, you've both been very busy, your gardens looking great, I had conifers in my old house they grew huge we found it hard to keep up with chopping them, but then I suppose there's different types. Thanks.

Hi Joan. Bloody 'ell, you guys have worked hard on your garden! Looking brilliant 😊 Apart from the bloody weather of course! 😕 Good look with the tatties in the ground this year Joan, like your idea of splitting them with the earlies. Most of ours in the tubs now. Top video Joan and always a pleasure to watch 😊 Takes Care guys, Andy & Karen.

You guys pull this project like a team of oxen. Unbelievable, the amount of work you both can do. I'm so impressed with the woodworking too. That is some lovely wood from that tree. Only now you can really see it when it's nice and smooth.

Fantastic update, Joan, you never let us down! You worked really hard and so did your hubby. (very clever man, handy to have around) It's a good feeling when everything comes together as you planned it, isn't it! I cant believe that hail stones! The English weather, a the moment, is so unpredictable. I have, however, taken "A leap of faith" and turned off the heater in my small poly tunnel. Hopefully, my peppers and cucumbers will be ok, fingers crossed! I transported a lot of my peppers to the big poly.I had a lovely sunny day on the Allotment, today. Got lots done. I am now concentrating on the flower bed, as I want to get as many of my flowers from seed in. I am like a "Mother Hen" with the more delicate ones though, reluctant to leave them on their own! Well, they have 2 chances-live or die! Stay safe, my friend, till we speak again. Big thumbs up!!!
