Hi Joan, Nice job with spuds I'm sure they will do great, thanks for recommendation of the dwarf green kale I want to try it next year, also looking forward to see gigantic tomato ! :)

Thanks for the peek of the figs Joan :) Will seriously give that some thought. Your trellises look great. All coming together. Love this manic part of the year, we also get to see the Tazmanian Devil in her element haha ;) Everything looks great. Really hope you get an allotment soon, you could go really crazy then. Thanks for the update, take care, Jazz.

Really good update Joan. It's great that your fella gets involved too, I'd love it if my wife was gardening with me but she just enjoys eating the produce lol

A good test for brassicas is the 'Tug leaf test', where in this test you tug one leaf of the brassica, and it should rip and the plant should not move, then you know it is properly planted.

I only discovered your channel a couple of weeks ago Joan and have had marathon sessions watching your gardening vids from the beginning, to the extent that I've started talking to myself in a Geordie accent when I'm gardening! You're an inspiration!

was wondering about the sunflowers couldnt decide wether to start them off in modules or straight in the ground so may start mine off before planting outside now
