http://www.ChucksPlantWorld.com Hello, my name is Chuck Schwartz, owner of Chuck's Plant World. I've got a B.A. in biology with a chemistry minor and a focus in entomology, so, rather than tent houses or spray fields, I took up horticulture. I have 35 years of experience working in retail nurseries, landscaping, gardening, and learning irrigation. As the great sage, Lawrence Berra, once said, "You can observe a lot by watching", so I used an heuristic approach to find out what caused problems and troubleshot how to fix them. Gardening is both my hobby and my métier. Produced by http://www.PerformanceProductionServices.com Fuchsia is a genus of flowering plants that consists mostly of shrubs or small trees. The first, Fuchsia triphylla, was discovered on the Caribbean island of Hispaniola (present day Dominican Republic and Haiti) about 1696--1697 by the French Minim monk and botanist, Charles Plumier during his third expedition to the Greater Antilles. He named the new genus after the renowned German botanist Leonhart Fuchs (1501--1566).
