Thank you So much for all your wonderful videos. I've had a vegetable garden for a few years, but discovered companion planting and permaculture this season. I'm just north of you in a zone 5a part of Rockford, so seeing what you plant and how you make it work are a huge help. Thank you again for all your time and effort. You're a fantastic inspiration. PS: I'm experimenting with using ground cherries as living, crop producing mulch.

Ok Patrick, another question. In this video, you said that your sugar snap peas will soon be ready to cut back. That makes me wonder if these plants are actually perrennials. As for these succession planting videos, please keep them coming. I've never been good at it. Based on what you've shared in this video, I am going to finish harvesting my radishes to make room for some squash plants. Lastly, you mentioned your spinach bolting. I am growing "longstanding spinach" (which,, if I understand correctly, is actually a form of swiss chard). It has been bolting, too, but I have just been harvesting the bolting parts to slow things down. Is that ok to do?

It is easier to plant a little bit at a time instead of trying to cram it all into one month. I've got some brassicas started that will follow my peas for a Fall harvest (hopefully).

Beautiful Patrick!

You always say "we" but we've never seen your wife. Love you videos!

What luscious looking plants, Patrick. I had to back up and watch that huge bee topple down that plant, not once but twice. Had to even call my beautiful bride over for her to see.
Thanks again my friend,
Blessings,
Jim -

I am very envious of your back yard garden. Love how you share both successes and failures, it helps me out allot. I'm in the process now of adding more garden to my backyard, i have two raised garden beds now. Plans are to make those two into mini hoop houses in the fall. But only time will tell how it all works out, Thank you for your videos!

In what state is your zone 5 garden? I am zone 5 Vermont and we had our last frost around May 8th. So we have just begun planting our garden. Yours looks so fantastic.
