There are lots of plants that show their "wow" factor through their vibrant flowers, but there are many plants that can do just that with their leaves. In this series, we'd like to introduce a variety of foliage plants that will add the perfect accent (or even steal the show) to any mixed planter or bedding display. In Part 2, we'll show you some examples of plants you can use in a shady location of your home. We've been experimenting with different plants that can survive without direct sunlight, and these are our top choices! Are those plants perennials? They are all beautiful, I love the contrast between them and how they are so eye catching. I live in zone 5, Massachusetts and for the most part, every single time I ask for similar plants (maybe they are the same, but just way smaller), they tell me they are annuals. And honestly I don't buy them because I want to have permanent plants.

The music in the video is kind of distracting , he is giving interesting information ( new to gardening) and I wish the editors would not play music throughout the entire video.

I would really like to know how you planted those in the planters behind you as you showed us what the final product could be.... I want to do this very soon so I would much appreciate a video reference or a video showing how you created that potted plant combination. I can't imagine that it's all in one planter! Thanks much:)
