Melanie and I went fishing in our new boat and caught dinner for ourselves. I am still mulching the gardens. And we are all still cleaning up the homestead. Melanie and I picked up a free sail boat a while back and never got to try it out. It came without the sail, rudder and weights. Just the hull. That suits us just fine. This is a fiberglass covered foam boat so it really floats nicely. You cannot sink this thing no matter what you do. And boy does it float and glide gently on the water. Just the slightest flick of the oar and the boat is flying across the water. We went out in our private pond and caught ourselves some dinner. Melanie did not want to quiet. And then when we got back to the tiny house she volunteered to not only clean the fish, but to cook them too!!! Later I cleaned up along the old fence line on the edge of the garden to remove all the cardboard and leaves that had gathered up there. Next I started to remove all the rocks I had tossed there during my tilling work the past two years. This was taking a lot of work and Melanie and Chris joined me. We got the job done together. Chris helped me get some mulch and then we put down some landscaping fabric and a layer of mulch along the old fence line. The garden is really starting to look good these days. Thanks for watching.
