I thought you was in Indiana for a minute lol. You getting any rain out there ? On the news they said it was really dry out there.
-
Hey Kim, u didn't say why the powdery mildew happens in the garden and what can be done to prevent it.
p.s. love your videos. -

-

I m still waiting for the answer on how I can get Bottle cap to insert straw
-
I would like to know what type of grow lights you are using and what size also? I live in Minnesota and the weather gets below zero quite a bit. What type of plants can I keep under a grow light during the winter and be able to harvest? Enjoy your series and look forward to each one.

I always try to watch your videos and get distracted lol. I try to listen to the gardening advice but it never gets through!
-
What low temperatures will these plants tolerate? Are they frost tolerant or simply cool season?
-
I love bottle cap that holds straw...where did you get it..or did you make it..pls respond.
-
I direct seeded early just for the fun of it since I pulled out some things. A week after things sprouted the temperature went up to 105+ here haha. I'm amazed everything made it (peas, arugula, kale, chard, etc), although a few leaves got burnt, it was minor.

Started watching your channel in the beginning of this year. The first one I watched was your composting video. I've been wanting to make compost but it's been really hot where I live so I've just been putting it off. Can't wait for your new tips.
Yeah, I was questioning how cool CA was this time of year. Was thinking "maybe the mornings get colder??". Totally got me. -
Three weeks into spring here but still generally pretty cold. Still, my seedlings are growing but slowly!

I have my greens, broccoli, cabbage, peas started!!! We, (in Florida) have been having the opposite problem of California, and have been having tremendous rain fall. Several of my beds have flooded and therefore I have had to replant...ugh!!!!

Love the video!
NEED HELP!!! So I started growing butternut squash and there seems to be tiny little squash that turn yellow and fall off! There's no time for the flower on the end to open. I only have one med. sized squash on the vine and all the babies die off. I even used a small brush and covered it with the pollen of a male flower and nothing! I am so disappointed. Any suggestions? -
I live in So Cal, and you had me fooled in that first scene. I thought I missed a bit of cool weather!
-
Hello! I live in Phoenix where it's still 90 degrees as well. Can I grow sugar baby watermelons in the fall-winter??? I love your videos btw.
-
Kim, you almost had me there!! I was about to check the national weather- No way SoCal got a cool front before us here in NoFlo lol!!
-
Kim, you look so much better in warm weather clothes. Too much of the fabric covers up the natural beauty.

HELP ok so I have been watching (notice watching) all season but I think I am finally going to start but have some questions. I guess it is time to start my seed indoors but not sure where to get my seeds? Not sure if the seeds at the 'box' stores are good enough to start with or if I should search online? I love love love love broccoli and cauliflower as well as green leaf lettuce and romaine lettuce and I think that all of those are okay for the fall season. Again I am just not sure if it would be better to get them online or it is just easier to go to a garden store and get them when they are leafy and ready to plant. I am in dallas tx and just not sure. let me know what your thoughts are...thanks
