I do fates until I get one and then do a story quest or something around that and then go farming again for another. It's a good way to lessen the stress.
-
I feel so sry for ppl who did the zodiac weapon when they first came out. I can now do all the steps within 3 days, suckas.

Alright huge question and I want the honest truth before I buy this game I was told FF 14 is the greatest grind for gear due to its korean mmorpg nature is this true cause if so I would rather not grinding in mmorpgs tends to be a trend so I am asking a few people and youtuber's so I can tally up these numbers because I am not in the mood to grind and before I get any comments saying OMFG you dont want to grind in an mmorpg ???? Lmfao your bad kid , A. only asking for advice here because I am in my 20's now and grinding is really burning me out. B. been playing mmorpgs since I was a 8 year old was a way to escape back then grinding was all I wanted to do but now as I am getting older I want an mmorpg with as less grind as possible so if you could tell me the 100% truth that would be awesome!

I just didn't do it. You can get other weapons that are just as good or better than the relic weapons, and they don't take weeks upon weeks to farm.
-
Hi I started and this is my 1st month finishing my Relic quest, and completing Atma; trying to upgrade to next level; but this is too much....U prob just quit....
-
the atma grind was to real to me.... took a whole year to get all the atma stones.
-
if you are dps just queue up in the duty finder and you can finish the entire atma farming and take a nap in time for your duty to start
-
i am still 50 lvl who i can down lvl 14 ?
-
so is this a video to help people to get the atmas or justgiving ur opinion which u said u WERENT going to do in like the first thre minutes yet thats all i herd
-
All 12 only took me 4 hours for Ninja weapon.
It's a cake walk. No grind. -
I think the problem with the Atma grind is that the actual weapon progression from Zenith to Atma is nonexistent; you grind for 12 Atmas to get the Atma weapon, which has no stat upgrades from its predecessor, and presents you with a longer, more tedious grind, though I'd argue that the books of trials are more satisfying to clear than clearing level 10 FATEs.
-
By the time I start this I will do like 5 fates - 1 dungeon - 5 fates and so on, hopefully when I get them all I'll have enough to get full soldiery gear
-
Grinded all day and couldn't get twins to drop. Got all the other ones within two fates...sigh...
-
I did this recently (so I think I had higher drop rates), it was pretty painful. The worst bit was handing them in and realizing "the fuck? no stat boost?". If they're going to add a grind, at the very least have it pay off at the end, not just with another grind.

Woot 7 Hours for atmas yesterday

ATMA fate grinding is terrible. You should get some sort of ATMA points or seals for each fate you participate in, with higher ranking resulting in more points/seals which you would then exchange for your ATMA weapon.
Oh, and don't let this happen to you... a few weeks ago, I obtained a better weapon that was better than my Zenith+1 and forgot to switch back to it when ATMA fate grinding. I was so used to the lack of ATMA drops that I didn't even notice that I had the wrong weapon equipped. D'oh. :P -
Yesterday, I started the Atma's quest... I grinded some FATEs and obviously, it didn't drop any - not complaining, since I just started. But, my question is, how do I know when get one Atma? Does it show on the reward's screen after completing the fate? Does it go to the inventory?
-
In order to even get an Atma, you need to do them with your Zenith relic? Is that correct?
-
Thanks for this vid Happy! I couldn't find an answer if it was locked to a specific weapon or not so came here to see if you had an atma vid :)
