SUMMER gives way to fall and the winter plants have gone into our square foot garden. We have radishes, turnips, beets, swiss chard, gai lan, mizuna, giant red mustard, spinach, purple sprouting broccoli, radicchio, cipola onions, russian purple garlic, arugula, butter crunch lettuce, chives... with winter pansies and sprint tulips. In a 4x8 square foot garden plot.
