Ladies, There are many videos online that show the medicinal value of Echinacea and how to use it.It supposedly helps colds. It is also available here in the form of a vitamin.

I just purchased several Echinacea plants at an end of summer sale. After researching them online and also learning that my soil contains a lot of clay, I have added Cow Manure and a Soil Conditioner. Will plant them tomorrow.I hope they do well. They are beautiful flowers!Enjoyed your video.

Nice video and I just love your Irish accents....I wish I would have watched this before I planted my echinasea this year .....I am in the process of transplanting because yes they are not crazy about wet clay type soil..... Have a nice day girls....

Yes Ireland not ideal for cone flowers, especially where the soil is heavy. They are lovely so we do try.

I love cone flowers & I have this purple cone flower in my yard. They attract butterflies & bees. Yours does not look very healthy & happy and this could be because it needs about 6 to 8 hours of direct sun light every day & I have heard that sun does not show its face much in Ireland. Good Luck keeping this one alive... its a beautiful addition to any garden.
