Echinacea Purple Cone Flower Transplant and Update Sept 2014

Welcome Back! Just a quick update on the Echinacea Purple Cone Flower. It wasn't doing well in the pot that I had planted the seeds in. I decided to move them into the Rhubarb barrel for the end of the season to see if they would spread out and grow a little better. Hopefully get a flower before winter comes in. I think that I planted too many seeds in the pot so I will keep an eye on that for next year and try thinning them out a little better. I've been told that the flowers re-seed like crazy when you plant them in a garden area when they are happy. I would like to get mine to that point so I can use the flowers in tea =) If you have any advice on growing the Echinacea please leave a message in the comments section, I would love to learn some tricks!
