Echinacea Purple Cone Flower Transplant and Update Sept 2014
Tips, Tricks
Welcome Back! Just a quick update on the Echinacea Purple Cone Flower. It wasn't doing well in the pot that I had planted the seeds in. I decided to move them into the Rhubarb barrel for the end of the season to see if they would spread out and grow a little better. Hopefully get a flower before winter comes in. I think that I planted too many seeds in the pot so I will keep an eye on that for next year and try thinning them out a little better. I've been told that the flowers re-seed like crazy when you plant them in a garden area when they are happy. I would like to get mine to that point so I can use the flowers in tea =) If you have any advice on growing the Echinacea please leave a message in the comments section, I would love to learn some tricks! Thanks for Watching, See you next time, Chox =)

Purple coneflowers rarely flower during the first year, so don't worry about not getting any blooms from them! They will explode in their second year though if they are happy campers!
