Hmm. That would work perfect for my field stone borders. No more weeds between the rocks! Great tip!

Do you use a level when smoothing out the concrete mix?
-
Quite lovely. :-)
-
Do you think it will remain after my crazy dog digging? they totally teared apart the digging edges and ate the roses. and most plants.

Was just thinking the same thing before I saw this vid. New concrete mixes like Quickrete 'just add water' would be great to "glue down" certain landscape pave stone projects.

I would have done it without the unsitley black boarder laying one row of bricks below the surface nd then pile on top with the rest .This will allow an edge top trim the grass. Good job but looks a little strange with the black boarder sitting under the stone bricks

Great Video. Love Landscaping Videos.

I just wanted to say thank you for taking time to post video. I used the border to keep the grass from spilling over into into the the garden. Very reasonably cost solution, and looks pretty nice too.

This is a great idea for some places in my flower garden where stones don't stay or roll out of place :)

What happen to the black rubber edge after you set the concrete? Do I remove it or leave it there with the bricks?
-
Ok what did you do first the siding or did you plant the shrubs and plants and the mulch first
-
Oh!! My God!! So easy!! No more paying $100.00's of dollars for landscaping!!!😉

Only thing I don't like is its too permanent, you're basically locking in the size of your flower beds for life. As an avid gardener I'm always adding new beds or increasing the size of my existing beds so this wouldn't work for me, but I guess it's good for those people who just want to set it and forget it.

Would this work on uneven ground where you would need a half height of a brick or whole brick to be even on top?
-
What about same thing with 4 or 5 lines, one on top of each one ? Doesn't need Digging and Grave ?
-
And why wet/set the concrete after the bricks are in place?
-
What is the purpose of the edging exactly? Don't the bricks define the border since you can't even see the black edging

I just bought my first house and have been going crazy trying to figure out how to landscape my yard by myself. This I can do. so for that I thank-you. Do you have more videos? I have a weird 8X8 concrete pad from an old green house in my front yard. Do you have any suggestions on what to do with it?

Do you have a similar video on how to do a mow strip for a lawnmower--2 wheels on bricks, 2 wheels on grass?
