Hi great planting skills just wanted to ask those cuttings was from new growth same year or old hard wood and what length cutting and depth was in soil how many leaf half cut was left on the cutting

I do, but only a little bit. The rain has maintained the level up. This spot I am using is more like a pond than a swale, the swales I created are too small to hold enough water to sit still for more than 5 days. The make shift pond, (with no lining) but used to irrigate my plants does well holding water.

Have you thought about getting those mosquito dunks? I don't know if they are cost effective as those feeder fish.
