Quick tips on adding drip irrigation for your containers. In the first video we show you how to connect a raindrip Fan Spray on stake using 1/4'' tubing to 1/2'' tubing using a barbed connector. In the second we show you how to connect Rain drip 1/4'' soaker hose to 1/4'' tubing using a barbed tee. if I'm watering out of a barrel with a pump do I need a pressure compensation valve? what about backflow valves do I have to?

Thank you for sharing the information on soaker hose. I was not aware of this. I do use drip irrigation for my raised bed and container gardening. Spl. with container setup i think this will be a perfect solution as I see my container are not evenly watered. By the way, what do you do with the 1/2 inc main line during the winter season. Thank you once again for all your videos.

Thank you +California Gardening. It's a great water-saving system that ensures even, regular watering. I find the soaker hose clogs easily and have to be replaced often. Do you have a filter at the water source origin? I am considering getting one. +OneYardRevolution suggested using hydrogen peroxide for maintenance, so I will try this if the 1/4" tubing gets clogged again...or just buy more tubing.

Thank you for the info. I do use drip irrigation however i need to change some large pots to soaker hose instead of drip emitters.
