If you use this weapon against the Demon of Song then it does really well, just two hand, move out of the Demons reach and when he is open to attack, break out a sick combo

The twinblades have such low damage because you are getting multiple hits at once. Dragonrider twinblade has some of the highest damage at +5 especially because of the scaling, plus it does good poise damage for each strike. Since it can do like 6 or 7 hit combos with that much poise damage for each hit, the damage is potentially very very good depending on your skill with the weapon.
