Dota 2 Micro Guide: How to micro Naga Siren Illusions - Shift De-select Method
Tips, Tricks
Demonstration and Guide/tutorial on how to micro Naga Siren illusions like the pro dota 2 players, split multiple units apart of a control group around the map quickly to farm more effectively than using the manual method. This is the same Naga siren micro that players such as Eternalenvy (EE), Loda, Arteezy, use to split their illusions to farm really quickly once they finish their naga radiance. This is obviously used with naga siren mirror imagine in this replay analysis, but it can be used for other heroes as well, such as Meepo, Lycan, Terrorblade. can even be useful on chen creeps in certain situations when micro your creeps back. If you have any questions then go ahead and ask in the comments, and remember to subscribe if you find these type of videos useful. My channel focuses on Dota 2 gameplay, dota 2 guide/guides (full gameplay analysis of different heroes such as Morphling or Sniper for instance with analytic commentary focused on gameplay strategy such as item build, skill build, laning and decision making, etc), general strategy, dota 2 advanced mechanics (warding guide, dota 2 hero tricks/tips, pulling, stacking, farm efficiency/patterns), tournament casts/play (from dota 2 pros or from my tourneys that I enter), in general becoming a better dota player (increasing mmr ?). how to you sent down the illusions?
-
is the tab method great ?

I play meepo, the best way in my opinion, is control grouping. You select main 1, 2,3,4, for illusions and 5,6, for mantas then micro like a boss on the map and the NEXT TRICK WHICH IS KEY is Shift key...so then it looks like u controling them but u aint...so just shift key to jungles and creep cuts....so il recap quickly
1. Group 1 main
2. Group 2,3,4, for illusions
3. group 5,6 for mantas
4. 2, shift key map, jungle
5. 3, shift key map, lane
6. 4 shift key map lane
7. manta, or save manta for escape
8. always 3rd skill when u see creeps low health..
u welcome! -
im not sure why you dont just tab through them and do this? select main one. tab set goal tab again set next goal...

Bren, I have some questions about naga and I would love it if u could answer some of then. Love this vid btw helps a lot

Bren it might be new patch and you might not know it , I just found out recently you can use your mirror image then tap issue command and tap issue command all your illusion then select you main and issue jungle farming.
You dont have to select them in a group you are able to tap through them , it might be a new feature. -
Naga Siren!
-
i remember this cloning from war 3. but i personally use a control group for each illusion. is this more efficient or worse off? even though i have ti rebind them.
-
thanks for the video, it was really helpful since in dota 2 reborn you have to ctrl + every time you make illusions while in dota 2 you dont. sub and liked.
-
Sweet! thanks
-
PLEASE do more micro vids I really want to learn how to play naga siren
-
i like to use the numbers, 1 for main naga, 2 3 4 for mirror images and 5 for manta, is this way better or worse ? and i don't use manta illusions often, they are not "cost efficient" in mana terms, and this way, looks like tabbing, but slower
-
also how about a Quickcast Guide or tutorial? cause i know some skills work well with Quick cast and some dont. ty again i love your videos they help me alot.
-
How about a MEEPO micro guide? i can do blink poof but i only got my meepos binded in 2 groups the main one and the other 4, so my micro is somehow limited, id like to know how someone like W33 or Bigdaddy micros their meepos so efficiently as if there were multiple people controlling each meepo, ty.

thx for this. useful tip

Common micro technique used by RTS players/Pro Nagas to split up multiple units in an efficient manner, thought it would be helpful to cover this in case I make a Naga Siren commentary video.
