Tried this as of 29/4. Didnt work, had to slay the monsters before I could progress.

Hi does this method for fast leveling work or is it patched

its been hotfixed i try it today and quest has been changed that you need to kill stuff there

Saw this a few days ago, wanted to try today. Patch notes:
Crazy climber event now requires players to kill the monsters spawned during the event to complete.

Thanks Rhykker. This got four of my guys from 60-70 in about 4 hours. Invaluable.

As of 2.0.4, this has now been nerfed. A sad day for us all. :'(

So I think they may have fixed this. I only get the quest from him to clear all the mobs attacking the tower. Been like this for probably 18 times I've seen him.

NERFED as of today's patch. now must kill monsters.

Was fun while it lasted - as of 2.0.4 you must kill the elite at the top of the tower to complete the quest, effectively nerfing this into pointlessness.

April 8, Hotfixed,now you have to kill every stairs mob to get the XP and gold reward... it was good while it last.

Still works, but only got it 1/10 times now
did give me 14 mil exp on 70 and 120k gold

Still works as of April 8 at 0400 hours. Took me two and a half hours to go from 60-70, this was an awesome trick, thanks mate!

April 7, at 3:10pm PDT. Still spawns. 11.2mil xp on T6 level 63. Got him twice in a row as of posting this.
