http://www.MetalMusicMan.com Example of the REALLY stupid run-away AI at ~24:20 Hey guys, here's my Monk Dodge Tank build, the guide explains how to solo farm Act 3 Inferno with 5 stacks of Nephelem Valor and kill Cydaea and Azmodan. Here's the build I'm using: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/monk#abidhg!UYX!ZZZbca Use the fastest attack speed weapon you can find (no less than 1.4 ideally) and get a piece or two of armor with Increased Attack Speed (the more the better!). Keep Sweeping Wind up on large packs / elite packs, combined with Backlash damage this spec can actually kill things fairly quickly while being a defensive tank build. In multi-player games, where you are solely a tank, swap Sweeping Wind for Breath of Heaven for extra survivability and healing or Cyclone Strike of extra control.

This video was made a year ago. Before the auction house was filled with items at low prices. I went through my stash a while back to find that items I'd bought for 1 million were now worth 10k.

dude wtf, you only have 45k health, my monk at lvl 55 has almost 70k and with mantra of haling and the one rune that increases vit, i can go up to almost 87k. you need to start looking at better gear for your 60. when i hit 60 on my monk i will send you and we can check each others stuff out cause my tank is insanity i can play on hell MP10 and the monsters do literally 0 damage to me. thats all i see is 0 damage.

I play on MP1 when I'm speed farming as a non-tank spec, then usually MP6 as a Tank solo.

Aesthetically it is good. Gameplay wise however not so much. I don't think I got a single character to hell before I was officially bored with it. Played D2 for years and was let down by D3's play style. They just took the lazy Elder Scrolls method of difficulty and just made shit hit harder which doesn't do anything but punish players who wanna play a melee class.

I had been having a hard time with cydaea, just getting creamed by all the spiders. Your advice worked like a charm though. I beat hear handily first try with the main skills you recommended. I didn't even have to heal (only 600 LOH). I had mantra of evasion with backlash, plus alternating FOT lightning flash, and DR keen eye, and I had sweeping wind blade storm going. Backlash was killing the spiders as fast as they spawned. I was struggling to keep SW going due to lack of targets. An easy win.

also, instead of dashing strike, go heal with 15% dmg increase :) will give you more

why in the world would anyone get 1000 AR? settle at 600, will give to 2-3 % less dmg reduction.. up ur dps, hp, LoH kill faster. i farm act 3-4 with my monk Easily, 30k dps, 800 loH 570 AR - 5.5k armor, 60% dodge, also why are people using transendence? if u burn all ur spirit its.. 5-10k hp? instead of 15% dodge (if u dual wield) 15% dodge.. !!!!!!!!!!! it´s amazing! any1 played wow? tanks would kill for even a talent with 10% pure evasion.. start using it! =)

Look like they heard some of your complains i just read in 1.0.4 they are getting rid of the Invulnerable Minions monster affix and they will shrink the gap between white and elite!

Looking at the time u spent and the items u got..... my advice, get over 240 mf (before stacks) and face roll act1.... it's so much more rewarding than this... and u dont get killed at all.... at least i don't.... i probally get 3-8 lvl63 per run i do which usually takes 45-60 min.... but if u do act1 u need to consider stuff like run speed, killing an mob getting the lvl 63 then u would kill some trash to get some crap normals to drop, so that the next elite had a good chance of dropping lvl63
