Diablo 3 Inferno Act 1 Wizard Rare Farm 35-40 an hour
Tips, Tricks
A brief guide of which waypoints to hit and clear in order to maximize your farming in Act 1 Inferno as a Wizard, show every elite kill, show every rare item identified as we go. I work really hard on these farm videos so I hope you enjoy! Basic Overview - Cemetery of the Forsaken The Old Ruins Fields of Misery The Festering Woods Northern Highlands Halls of Agony 1-3 (Warden/Butcher) If you want to see what I actually do in each zone you will have to watch the video, but those are the areas I hit since some people had mentioned that they would just like that instead of watching where all the pygmys are and elite locations generally are! Hi there, have you considered "D3Max Out Turbo" (google it)? On their website you will find a great free video showing the right way to speed run Diablo 3. This helped Jack to speed level in Diablo 3 and consequently max out his character very fast. It may help you out as well.
-
Appreciate that, thanks!

Yes indeed, I had 2000 or so on my bank toon so I just didn't care :)

You sold 76 tome of secrets xD

For me it´s way better to use desintegration in act 1 because the enemies there are not hard so you can kill many enemies really fast. You can tank most of the rares with diamant skin by constantly spamming desintegration + hydra. The beam with chaos nexus rune (the second) will kill any normal enemy in range in 1 or 2 seconds. It´s really no problem and I only have 20k damage with magic find gear.

Haha indeed, my first Act 1 on barb, 5 packs, 1 legendary drop in Watch Tower.
-
Also, have to mention the Watch Tower (Northern Highlands), which spawns on the northwestern edge of the map. I've gotten as many as 5 elites, 2 resplendents, and 1 goblin in that dungeon. The other Act 1 dungeons in Fields of Misery, Southern Highlands, etc., are nice, but the amount of elites you'll find in Watch Tower (on average) is mindboggling.

Thing with the Jar of Souls quest (and its alternate, the Lady Dunhyld quest), you can skip the event entirely to save time. With the Jar of Souls quest, you can simply activate the Jar then leave to search the rest of the crypt for elites, and return to destroy the jar without having to destroy the skeletons. With Lady Dunhyld, you can simply run through and grab each of the bones and put it on the coffin and ignore the Purple spawn. Both give what amounts to an elite kill, for no effort.

No there's not. Bashiok specifically said it will NOT be retroactive. Only new legendaries. If that was the case you'd see a lot more unidentified trading.

Hey there, have you heard of "D3 Max Out Turbo" (search on Google for it)? On their website you will find a nice free video explaining the best way to speed run Diablo 3. This made it possible for Pete to speed level through Diablo 3 and thus max out his character very fast. It may help you too...

I use Bandicam, I don't have the resources available to be setting up on anything impressive, I just make sure I am very precise when I record.
-
I use Bandicam

That's what I thought as well but if there is blue saying they may buff old oranges as well, then I would be more interested in taking up slot space for them lol.
-
i do not think they said they will retrobuff. I think they said "it will be ONLY for new drops"
-
If you could let me know where a blue said they are going to retro actively buff legendary weapons I would be very interested in that.
-
I think they're gonna buff legendary weapons. First off they're just gonna buff new drops, but apparently, they'll be buffing existing weapons later. The Grandfather might still be good in a while.
