Since the release of Diablo 3's Patch 1.0.5 I have been doing some pretty serious Alkaizer route farming for paragon levels and gear. I find trying to be as efficient as possible pretty enjoyable and so I have done a fair bit of research into the different things that successful farmers do while farming efficiently. It made it possible for Pete to speed level in Diablo 3 and consequently ｍａｘｏｕｔｈｉｓｃｈａｒａｃｔｅｒ very fast ｍａｋｉｎｇａｌｏｔｏｆｇｏｌｄｏｎｔｈｅｗａｙ. It may help you out as well...

How come I don't start in front of the boss when I waypoint to the core?

Alkazier actually had pretty bad gear, even at the time. He just played efficiently and for a long time. ;)

You have to select keeps 1 or 3 waypoint and then run through the door. ;)

would anyone have any idea why i can't select the keep depths level 2 as waypoint? it isn't in the list, i can waypoint to all the other places, yet that one won't show up..?

how much mf and whats the best mp level for good legendaries?

Generally your farming speed is going to be slower in a party, especially if you just use your normal builds. However, I have seen some people do efficient party farming with a lot of build synergy and planning. In short: Currently the most effective farming for parties is key farming and Uber farming. Standard gold/xp farming is generally more efficient solo.

Whats the prosa nd cons of doing these runs with other people? say we're a ww barb and a demon hunter below and we're both below 120k dps, say we do mp0 or mp1 together doing these runs, what would be the result in comparison to doing the runs solo`?

Hello there, have you heard about "Diablo 3 Maxout Turbo" (google it)? On their website you can watch a great free video explaining the right way to speed run Diablo 3. It helped Pete to speed level through Diablo 3 and max out his character very fast. Hopefully it works for you as well...

I can do the basic Alk run in about 9 minutes now with my new Strafe build. Still not quite enough DPS to make MP1 efficient though.

That's a pretty cool idea! I know a good number of high level players now and maybe one of them will be willing to stream it. I'll see if I can string something together but it might have to wait until the new year (moving houses and xmas are going to kill me).

Ah nice thanks. The info about dropping archon/wotb was given to me by a few other players but it's probably different for everyone depending on their gear/builds etc.
