Is this method patched? If not, do you guys recommend me playing this mission in hard mode? Or does tht not matter?

when i did this ages ago i got 29 and i recorded it but the recording cut half way through so it corupted

When I did this method it only worked for me twice

I used this method before the taken started spawning and i cant beleive it still works. I wound up getting a hawkmoon,reddeath, an exotic sniper, chest peice, and helm extremely fast. this is by far the best farming method.. the only issue i had was keeping my heavy ammo stock up.
