Hi Debra, can we propagate the echeveria afterglow leaves to become new plants...or it this type of propagation only works for smaller leafed succulents?

Is it safe to say that I don't have to worry about "burying" them in the soil?

How do you know when to transplant a succulent? Are they generally slow growing so you can leave them in the same pot for a while?

All those succulents were only $32?? I've seen those large echeverias alone go for 20

I live out in Oceanside, west of the 5. Do you think it would be too humid? You know how our micro-climate goes. Didn't want to take a trip out there if it wont be good for them being that close to the coast. figured id ask you before i took the drive.

Just planted my first succulent container and I very excited.

excellent photograph ... bad that succulent planter... big disappointment and I had purchased three of his books. His arrangements have no room to grow, would last only a few days and die.
