Dark Souls 2 - Large Titanite Farming

1. Cloanne will start selling large CaTiSiO5 (titanite) after your curse bearer clears Iron Keep.
2. Also dropped by the villagers and undead mages in same area. Personally I find the Gyrm in Doors of Pharros more effective (chunks and large shards).
3. Cloanne is Hawt!
4. Nifty little tip about those spikes, if you're wearing metal boots they won't hurt you.

7. As a tip for making that little jump you mentioned, hug the wall. If you go parallel you won't faceplant on the stone and lose your momentum.
8. Thank you for this strategy, it helped me grab some large titanite shards. There's also 1 shard somewhere if you explore near where your run is, not sure if there are more shards around to loot.
9. What triggers the girl to sell large titanite? she only sells shards in my game (and in limited numbers)
10. Did you know that the Undead Solider at the start of the BrightCove drop large shards and chunks as well.  If you want to increase your drop rate, Always be in Human form (increases discovery), wear the Prisoner's mask and Prisoner's Cloth.  Both increase item discovery.  Use the Covetous Serpent ring.  I get 1 in 2 drops from the Foot Soliders with the Dark Magic weapons. 
    
    Also note, that the more weapons you have upgraded to +4, the game seems to drop more large shards and chunks.  Dark Souls 2 is interesting that way and in the way you play, effects everything as well.

If you need Large Titanite Shards or Titanite Chunks early on in the game, drop down the big hole at Majula, which will take you to Grave of Saints, next defeat the Rat Boss and then continue down to the first bonfire in The Gutter. Progress further down until you reach the Black Culch, there will be black oil puddles which have monsters come out of them when you get close, the monsters drop  Large Titanite Shards and Titanite Chunks. Make sure you break the stone statues that shoot poison first, as long as you don't die when you hit the bonfire the statues won't respawn. BTW LividTurkey you should do a video for this method. ^^^
13. i cant get to that bonfire it says "door opens from other side"
14. Where can u get more titanite shards? I have beaten flame tower level and still the blacksmith has only a limited number of them.
15. nice.plz let me know about twinkling titanite farming.i have only found 2 and thats from blacksmith's chest.
