Each farming area is in very close proximity to one another and both are near a fairly simple boss fight, this makes it easy to rack up thousands of souls in between boss kills in co-op as well. These farming areas are in the Undead Crypt which is roughly a little over halfway through the game. With this method you should be able to average roughly 100 thousand souls every 10 to 15 minutes. just talk to the victor's stone in majula and pick a place to farm.. its just that easy. all spawns will respawn and not despawn.

One problem. If you "Overdose" yourself in soul farming, then your Soul memory will go over the roof, meaning it'll become very difficult to co-op or duel any online players

why not farming lord giant instead?

Just kill the giant boss in the giant memory over and over using a bonfire aesthetic, it gives way more souls and its easy
