Doug Green in his gardening journal http://www.youtube.com/user/headgardener2u/ points out how to naturalize daffodils in the lawn - http://www.simplegiftsfarm.com for other lawn care hints and tips. The trick with naturalizing daffodils is to delay mowing the grass for at least a month after the blooms are finished. This delay allows the leaves to pump nutrients down into the bulbs so they can produce a bloom for next year. Without that time, the bulbs will slowly run down and stop blooming.
