Cucumber Plant Time Lapse HD
Tips, Tricks
Cucumber plant time lapse video shot over the course of a 21 day period. Shot with a Canon Rebel XT SLR camera in interval mode, and tethered to a laptop. The pictures were imported into Sony Vegas and rendered into an HD video. You can see the growth speed up suddenly in a few spots. This is because of the plant being watered (watch the dirt swell up with water just before the plant growth speeds up). The bugs are box elder bugs. P.S. I hate box elder bugs.

time lapse of a cucumber plant and bug sex

They're elder bugs, and the plant wasn't dying. It's first stage leaves were atrophying, it's a normal process.

is the bug for real

That would have been cool. ..more bugs there then my entire garden..

What is the technique of making this type of videos

Insects were cool addition. Sad to see seedlings start to die at end of video. I liked the time info on your tomato seedling vid.

Moral of the story, don't let bugs mate on your plant, or it'll DIE.

Cucumber/squash beetles, no? Coincidence the one they stayed on most died? Maybe, but they do carry plant disease!
