Hi, are you NPIP certified?
-
Noticed some have very thin beak towards the tip. Is that an anomaly or just variation within each bird ?

Thanks for the info & enjoyed the video.
Have you tried at all having an outside/ground level pen? I am considering making a 2ft tall x 2 ft wide x 50 ft run along the perimeter of my greenhouse, with a dog house on each corner. There they would make excellent bug protection during the warm months & in the winter they could come inside an area of the greenhouse. Not to mention all the lovely compost it would provide. Any thoughts? -
The information is solid, but how the birds and their environments are being presented is a bit poor. As some have commented before, a flat surface with pine shavings will do wonders for the birds feet. Also, buy a plastic container and fill it with some non-toxic plain/coloured sand. Get them into the habit of taking a sand bath every day, and they'll be quite happy.

That's great! Can't wait to see it.

there is a fatal flaw in the design of your cages. The 2x2 framing should have the wiring attached to the inside of the cage, not the outside due to the build up of feces along the walls, thus losing any benefits to the sanitation argument of keeping them on wire. This is a common design flaw that I have seen in poultry and rabbit cages. Also, as far as instructional videos go, I would recommend using cue cards as opposed to an entire script that is being read. That way it seems more like a conversation instead of a dull tutorial. Or find someone with a more engaging reading style. This mistake is so often times made in these instructional videos and causes the viewer to lose interest due to the monotone sound of the narrator. Also, I recommend careful scrutiny during the editing process before posting, to alleviate any errors and potentially harmful impressions made when excessive feces is present in the living quarters of the birds.
